3B Build Pty Ltd is a new building and construction company based in Perth, Western Australia. The company comprises three partners; Sam Davidson, Stuart Sadgrove and Ross Cooperwhite who bring some 60 years experience between them in the construction industry.

In addition to standard construction and building capabilities, 3B Build are a client focused company who are able to assist at all levels of a potential development; from initial feasibilities to the manipulation of the building efficiencies and cost components to ensure a project can achieve a mutually acceptable outcome for both client and builder, and in turn, ensure the overall viability of the project. This is just one of 3B Build’s additional capabilities that is proving attractive to both current and prospective clients.

Further considerations at the forefront of 3B Build’s list of operating criteria are an acute awareness of the importance of a high end product, quality workmanship, maintaining sight of the original predetermined time and cost undertakings and a safe workplace for all.

3B Build values relationships with subcontractors and as such endeavors to enhance teamwork with core key subcontractors. 3B Build are actively aware of the value of good subcontractors to the successful completion of it’s projects.

3B Build are also prequalified to level 5 to ($50M) with the government of Western Australia.

The 3B Build Team

The staff and management of 3B Build Pty Ltd have vast experience within the industry across the state over many years that has equipped them well to undertake any challenge the industry can present – details of the individuals are summarised below as follows:

Sam Davidson - Development Manager


Sam brings in excess of 39 year’s industry experience to the company. This was amassed whilst filling numerous senior management roles within the industrial and commercial building industry throughout WA and overseas. Significantly, Sam was the Operations Manager of the Building and Construction Division for the John Holland Group here in Perth for some considerable time, during which time he was responsible for the building division which involved the successful completion of such iconic projects as the Subiaco Oval, Joondalup Health Campus and the much publicised Bell Tower located on the river foreshore in Perth (a project that required both innovative construction techniques and a proactive industrial strategy). The Joondalup Health Campus received the Building Institutes "Excellence in Building Award" 1999 for projects over $60M.

During this tenure Sam also undertook the construction of the Subiaco Oval redevelopment, the Mount Hospital refurbishment, Qantas Domestic Airport Redevelopment along with many others of note.

Stuart Sadgrove – Construction Manager

Stuart Sadgrove

Stuart has a Bachelor of Architecture and is a Registered Builder in WA. He has 17 years local industry experience in the construction industry with Transfield, John Holland Construction and Engineering and Westpoint, as well as overseas experience with a large UK based contractor. This experience has resulted in the successful completion of luxury apartments, shopping centre’s, hospitals, refurbishments and heritage works and leaves Stuart well armed to fill his Construction Manager role within 3B Build Pty Ltd. The projects that Stuart has been directly involved ranged in value from $1M to $60M.

Ross Cooperwhite – Contracts Manager

Ross Cooperwhite

Ross holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree (Construction Management & Economics) from Curtin University and has 16 years local industry experience with Keywest, John Holland Construction and Engineering and Westpoint, as well as overseas experience with an interior fit out company in London. This experience has resulted in the successful completion of numerous projects inclusive of commercial apartments, cinema complexes, primary and secondary schools, child care centre’s, retail complex’s, hospitals, airports & TV/Radio stations. These projects range in value from $1M to $45M. It is significant to note that in Ross’s time at Westpoint Construction he was responsible for the cost planning works of in excess of $800M worth of future development projects including the proposed $500M Emu Brewery Development. The combined experience of Sam, Stuart and Ross has resulted in the successful completion of in excess of $500M of construction projects across the Perth metropolitan area.
